Local Search Appeal
Budget Controller
An internal tool used by Local Search Appeal staff to monitor client advertising spend and apply configured budget controls across Google Ads and Local Services Ads.
Built for authorized account management
Staff use the controller for advertising accounts that Local Search Appeal is authorized to manage. This public website explains the tool and its data practices. Tool access is managed internally; there is no public registration.
What the controller does
Monitor advertising spend
Reads account and campaign information, including Google Ads and Local Services Ads spend, and compares it with configured weekly and monthly limits.
Apply budget controls
Pauses eligible campaigns when configured rules require it. Automatic resume depends on the account settings, scheduled pauses, Keep Paused controls, and whether this controller owns the pause.
Use account-specific settings
Reads designated Google Sheets for account mappings, budget settings, schedules, and notification recipients. Where configured, it retrieves aggregated CallTrackingMetrics call counts through the agency’s reporting service.
Keep the team informed
Sends configured budget and error notifications to authorized staff and designated client recipients. Operational logs help staff investigate failed requests and confirm actions.
How Google data is used
The controller uses authorized Google account access to perform its budget-monitoring and campaign-control functions. Account information is processed by the agency’s scripts and Google Cloud services. It is not displayed on this public website.
Our privacy policy explains the information accessed, its use and storage, and how to request access removal or deletion.
